About Me

Hi, my name is Jeanette Soukup! I was born and raised in Kansas where the prairie stretches for miles and beautiful sunrises and sunsets inspire creativity and productivity. I am widowed, and I have four adult children and 13 grandchildren.  I’m so proud of all of them! My dog’s name is Scout, and he is a 98-pound Labrador Retriever, who thinks he’s a lap dog. I love to watch professional baseball on TV and junior high/high school basketball in person. I am a news junkie and I love corny catastrophe movies and science fiction TV series/movies. I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction – really just about anything except murder mysteries. I am passionate about my faith, my family, crafting, and so many other things. I want to learn new things from my friends, and I want to share tips and tricks with you that might help make your home more inviting and everyday life more fun!
